Tobias Renner
Tobias trained in psychology before moving into health writing, having spent two years working in a community mental health support role before deciding he could reach more people by writing clearly about the everyday side of mental wellbeing than through one-to-one work alone. He writes about stress, sleep, and the psychological patterns that shape daily life — careful never to pathologise normal experience or offer clinical guidance. He has a particular interest in how language around mental health shapes public understanding. He lives in Sheffield and is half-German, which he blames for his tendency to over-explain things.
